Resumen
No language or speaker, nature or foreigner, can do without a grammar or dictionary in the process of learning a foreign language. Grammar, in the terms in which we are using it, is a ongoing process and it constitutes a Corpus within reach of teacher and the students. In this sense, Grammar and Research are parallel and complementary fields. Grammars and Dictionaries are the two basic pillars on which the teaching of a language is based. Learning a language is a conscious process of acquisition and dominion of phonology, grammar and lexis. The dictionary is one of the most interesting guides to the learning of uses and customs. Below, we present a study of the grammars and dictionaries (of the Italian Language) since the beginnings of the 16th centuries.
