Abstract

The present work deals with the creation of a library of components in PROOSIS® for the simulation of wastewater treatment plants based on microalgaebacteria consortia. The programming of models to describes the interactions between microalgae and bacteria can be complex for students and no-trained people in the field. For this reason, in this work the advantages of object-oriented programming are used for the creation of reusable components that allow a simple approach to the simulation of this type of systems. The ALG_BACT_WWTP library is presented and library elements are described.
