Abstract
This paper refers to the methods that use plants and trees to clean up metals and organic chemicals that contaminates soils and waters. It includes how phytoremediation work, their use in place of mechanical cleanup methods, examples of sites testing phytoremediation, limitations, and current investigation lines.
