Resumen

In this paper, we present a descriptive analysis of kind of users and how family meeting point services have worked at APROME (Castilla y León, Spain) from 1994 to 2009. These family meeting point services are resources for broken or conflict families that need technical and institutional support, in which the role of mediation and promotion in resilience interventions is enhanced.Given the users profile, the way of working in APROME and takinginto account their multidisciplinary training and professional competencies, these contexts are very useful to promote resilience, especially in minors –who are the main addressees and beneficiaries of this resources and services. Family meeting point services are context in which family mediation can be carried out; specially, since minors are immersed in complex family situations, the work of these professionals as resilient mentors contribute to improve these children’s psychosocial wellbeing. The resilience promotion in risk minors is one of the main goals of their interventions.
