Fíbulas anulares hispánicas vacceas a través del registro de "Pintia"la tecnología de cabecera remachada y su pervivencia

Resumen

The set of fibulae recovered from the Pintia Archaeological Zone, located in the municipalities of Padilla and Pesquera de Duero (Valladolid), includes more than three hundred and fifty pieces. From this large collection, fifty-eight pieces belong to the model called Hispanic annular by E. Cuadrado. The study of this set of annular pieces through a new typological approach adapted to this archaeological record, which could be extrapolated to the vaccean word. Moreover, we deeply investigate a singular variant identified as “type 19” or “riveted head”, which is closely related to pieces of vaccean goldsmith. The number of type 19 fibulae documented at Pintia has doubled in recent years, reaching an amount of nine pieces, being one of them recovered precise archaeological context, a well-preserved tomb. The features of this model regarding its peculiar assembly system allow to interpret it as a prototype of another common design in the Northern Plateau of the Iberian Peninsula: 4g or thick ring with gusset.
