Abstract
The growing presence of the new waves of feminism in today’s Spanish society, which is fundamentally promoted by the political left, is considerably influencing the use of the language in numerous fields, among which the political and the media spheres stand out, with the adoption of gender ideology or perspective, which aims to transform linguistic behaviors in order to transform social behaviors. The analysis of the speeches of prominent promoters of this ideology from the point of view of social pragmatics that we carry out here aims to describe the main linguistic resources that they use and the type of arguments and reasoning that support them.
