Resumo

In this paper, a piece of bronze found by chance at the municipality of Novallas, and dated to Celtiberian-Roman times, is presented. A possible cultural and functional ascription of the instrument is proposed, through a review of archaeological findings of natural horn trumpets with metal fittings, written sources and iconographic depictions
