Resum

The church of Santa María la Real de Sangüesa is linked from its origins to the Navarra monarchy and enjoys a privileged position on the very edge of the Camino de Santiago. In this church sculpture seems to drink from distant themes, such as Scandinavian legends. Its location is key to understanding this fact, as we are in front of a monument that represents the confluence of the most characteristic styles of the art of the Camino, thanks to the constant cultural and artistic exchange that develops in its surroundings.
