Abstract
This paper critically analyzes the touristic festival regulation in Castilla y León. An outdated regulation which does not provide an answer to the social reallity, and economic importance tourism embodies in Castilla y León nowadays. At the same time, a new scale for the honorific mentions aswel as a diferent classification of the socalled administrative activity and, finally, a different legal regime appropiate to the reallity are put forward.
