Abstract

Nuck’s cyst is the equivalent of a hydrocele in women. We must consider this diagnosis in all injuries associated with inguinal pathology in women. It is a congenital anomaly produced by the persistence of the processus vaginalis. It comes from the parietal peritoneum that accompanies the round ligament within the inguinal canal of women and remains unobliterated.
