Adrián de la Fuente Ballesteros holds a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Valladolid (Spain). He later completed four MSc degrees in: a) Education and Teaching, b) Advanced Techniques in Chemistry, c) Scientific Dissemination, and d) Artificial Intelligence and Innovation. He is currently finishing a PhD in Analytical Chemistry, supported by a prestigious fellowship from the University of Valladolid co-financed by Banco Santander. His research focuses on developing and validating chromatography-mass spectrometry methods for analyzing analytes of interest in food and environmental matrices. Primarily, he has studied contaminants (pesticides) in bee products such as beeswax, honey, pollen, royal jelly, and propolis. This work has led to a solid scientific output, including more than 10 publications, over 30 conference contributions, book chapters, and several international collaborations with prestigious universities. Throughout his career, he has received numerous scientific awards, including the IMFAHE Excellence Scholarship, the EuChemS Young Chemists’ Award, the University Commitment Award, an Honorable Mention in Science and Technology at the National Youth Awards, and the Erasmus+ 2024 Award. Additionally, he was selected as a member of the Nova Talent Network, the largest platform exclusively for the top 3% of talent in Spain.
