Abstract

Three years ago, we were proposed to be part of the Teaching Innovation Project that coordinated the carrying out of architecture workshops with high school students. Our chalk workshop carried out in two hours the stages of presentation, ideation, execution, taking photographs and exhibition on class screen to his colleagues, all this in constant dialogue and exchange of opinions. The schools welcomed us to bring the architectural activities to their students. We wanted to promote that the students of the institutes knew the type of activities that an architecture student performs. But the challenge we were facing was to reproduce, with a student as untouched as enthusiastic, learning experiences typical of the Schools of Architecture without the background of knowledge, categories and terminology that, of course, our students have. This article describes the experience, what we have learned and we bring back to the school.
