Resumen

The article makes a study of the concept of interdisciplinarity, describing its evolution since the first proposals made by Jean Piaget in the 70s. The different interpretations that this term has had in each historical moment are briefly pointed out. After this historical analysis, the article consolidates the main lessons learned over the years of promoting interdisciplinarity.
