Abstract

The Crimea-Congo hemorrhagic fever, although it is a disease with a very low incidence, it must be taken into consideration when caring for patients after the bite of a tick, especially in the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León and more specifically in the province of Salamanca. Early diagnosis is essential as it improves survival, so accurate anamnesis is mandatory in high-risk areas. Hospitalization is always required and the more early the diagnosis, the greater the probability of survival.
