Abstract
The enhancement of higher education curricula promoted by the Bologna Process modified the landscape of Translation and Interpreting Studies curricula in Europe significantly. In this context, the Spanish Royal Decree 1393/2007 of 29th Octobermarked the organization of the Higher Educational System in Spain, as well as the elaboration of a number of reference documents aimed at guiding universities in the design of the new curricula. The aim of this work is to analyze the current curricula adopted by the different Translation and Interpreting degrees in Spain. A thorough analysis of the curriculaadopted by the Spanish universities currently offering Translation and Interpreting Studies will unveil if the professional profiles demanded by the labor market are effectively being developed during undergraduate training.
