Pablo de Castro Martín (Valladolid, 1970) has a degree in Fine Arts and History of Art and a PhD in Education Sciences from the University of Valladolid (UVa). He completed his doctorate studies at UVa and the Università degli Studi Ca' Foscari (Venice). He received the extraordinary awards for both his degree and his PhD. After twenty years as a teacher in schools, he is currently a professor in the Department of Teaching of Musical, Plastic, and Physical Expression (University of Valladolid) and a Researcher at RED14 and the Observatory of Heritage Education in Spain. He has designed numerous innovative educational projects in the field of heritage, some of which have been awarded in various calls such as Los Nueve Secretos (Historical Heritage Foundation of Castile and León), Viatores Contest (Siglo Foundation), Vaccea Awards (University of Valladolid), the International Film Festival of Valencia, or can be seen in collaborations with Galería Espacio Líquido (Gijón), Instituto Cervantes in New Delhi, National Sculpture Museum or the Patio Herreriano Museum of Spanish Contemporary Art. As a visual artist, he has held individual and collective exhibitions. His contemporary art collection has been displayed at MARTE. Contemporary Art Fair (Castellón, 2017), Galería Vilaseco (La Coruña, 2018), and Barjola Museum (Gijón, 2019).
